The workshop will be held at Hanasaari congress center, located on a beatiful island near Helsinki city. The congress center can be reached by bus in 10 minutes from the city centre. Hotel accommodation will be arranged in the congress center, and if necessary in hotels nearby.

by air

For flying to Finland a natural choice is one of the world's oldest operating airlines, Finnair. The arrival is at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

There are different kinds of transport services at the airport :

• Taxi. The cost is about 150 FIM to Hanasaari.
• Suomen Airport Taxi Oy and Yellow Line Airport Taxi: special airport cabs that are a bit cheaper, cost about 70-100 FIM. They take other passengers heading for your direction as well, so the trip takes a bit longer. They have booths in the lobby right after the customs.
• Finnair Citybus which takes you to the Helsinki City center. The cost is 25 FIM.
• Buses 615 and 616 to the Helsinki City Center. The cost is 16 FIM. The ticket is valid for transfers in one hour.

The trip from the airport to the city or to the Hanasaari area takes half an hour by taxi, or a little more by public transport. If the traffic is heavy it may take extra 15 minutes.

buses from the City centre to Hanasaari

Buses no. 101 - 160 go from the early morning till half past two am. between Helsinki bus station and Hanasaari. The buses leave from piers 51 - 60 at the bus station, located in the immediate city center. The trip takes 5-15 minutes.
