This data set contains the following files. Each file contains a more detailed description of its format at the beginning of the file. * film_clips.dat Data (number, film title, film year, film genre, timecode, duration, width, height, scene type) about the film clips used in the study. * human_ratings.dat The collected human ratings for the mood and stylistic attributes of the film clips. * shot_boundaries.dat The shot boundaries of the film clips. * character_locations.zip The framewise locations of the characters in the film clips. The zip file contains 51 files: a readme file as well 50 clip-specific character location data files (NN_character_locations.dat, where NN = clip number 01–50). * dialogue_contents.zip The transcribed dialogue contents of the film clips. The zip file contains 45 files: a readme file as well as 44 clip-specific dialogue content files (NN_dialogue_contents.dat, where NN = clip number 01–50), one for each clip that contains English-language spoken dialogue. Non-English dialogue has not been transcribed. * dialogue_timecodes.zip The timecodes of the dialogue segments in the film clips. The zip file contains 48 files: a readme file as well as 47 clip-specific dialogue timecode files (NN_dialogue_timecodes.dat, where NN = clip number 01–50), one for each clip that contains spoken dialogue (both English and non-English). * music_timecodes.zip The timecodes of the music segments in the film clips. The zip file contains 36 files: a readme file as well as 35 clip-specific music timecode files (NN_music_timecodes.dat, where NN = clip number 01–50), one for each clip that contains music. * computational_features.dat The values of the low- and high-level computational features for the film clips.
